I received a text from my buddy (we go WAYYYYYY back..elementary school) Jenn back in April that said, "Hey y'all, I need a BREAK! Wondering if y'all are up for a May beach trip with kiddos?" My initial response was, "no... we have school." But, in the end it all worked out and we were able to sneak away for a quick trip to Gulf Shores with some of my best friends. We had an amazing time, Colton was in heaven with all the other kids to pay with on the beach. We didn't tell him we were going until I checked him out of school. His best buddy Evan was there and we surprised him with that too! Driveway to driveway in 7 hours, what an amazing Mother's Day!
