Kindergarten Graduation

My sweet baby boy graduated from Kindergarten a couple of weeks ago! He has grown and changed so much over the past year. He made lots of new friends and he loves his school so much. We are excited for first grade, but it will be nice to have a break for a few months.

Whaaaaa, only 6 more weeks of Kindergarten. He has grown and changed in so many ways this year. Colton loves school...his teacher, friends, the people-ALL of it. He is so excited for first grade, but it hurts my heart a little  a lot to see him growing up so fast.

Best Buddy Breakfast 2015

Colton's school has a Best Buddy Breakfast every year. He was so excited to invite Evan, his best buddy. Unfortunately, Evan goes to Kindergarten at another school and it wasn't possible for him to join us for breakfast. Colton chose to ask Don Don and DeeDee to join him for breakfast. It was early, but he was so excite to have them there.

Botanic Gardens Field Trip

Colton has been so excited about his Spring field trip to the Botanic Gardens with his class. The trip was originally planned for an earlier date, but Memphis and its bipolar weather delayed us. Nasty weather threatened our field trip, but it turned out to be a wonderful day.

 

We arrived at the Memphis Botanic Gardens and had a picnic lunch. There are 7 Kindergarten classes with roughly 18/19 kids per class. There were prob about 200 of us there from Riverdale. Kindergarten field trip means a whole lotta chaperone's. I love hanging with this group of kids, and parents. I know almost all of this kids either from being buddies with Coley or from subbing in their classrooms. So fun.

Bittersweet...

I am in the final week of my 10 week interim at Riverdale. I have been so blessed to teach in Kindergarten (my fav grade) at Colton's school (also my previous school)! Although, I am sad to leave my sweet kinder kiddos...a small break will be nice. Coley and I are headed to DAB next week and Josh will join us a few days later. Yay, the beach...I CANT WAIT.

I was sad to be coming to the end of my interim, but I received some very AWESOME news last week! This girl will be filling in for another interim position at my most fav school! 2nd grade this time, which I LOVE! I will close out the year with this interim with will start mid-April! Yay! What a blessing.

I am over the cold, snow, ice, rain, and all moisture. Bring on the sun, sand, warmth, and relaxation. I will relish in the relaxation, reflection, exercise, and quality time spent with my family. Just wish I could pack up a few of you to join us!
